Nurse Navigation

PinnacleHealth-Fox Chase Cancer Center Nurse Navigator can help you find the best path to healing by providing guidance and support along what can be a complex medical journey.

You can focus on healing while your nurse navigator coordinates your diagnosis and treatment and finds resources, both through PinnacleHealth and the community, to help you with issues related to your care.

Nurse Navigators are specially trained nurses who can help you:
  • Understand your condition and treatment plan
  • Share information with your doctors and other caregivers
  • Take an active role in your care
  • Overcome barriers to care, such as transportation and financial issues or childcare
  • Understand what resources are available and how to access them
  • Find solutions to fit your diagnosis and lifestyle
Nurse navigators are caring nurses who have worked in hospital settings. They are active in the community so they know what resources are available.

The support of a nurse navigator, in addition to care and communication with your physician and healthcare team, results in a better experience and better outcomes.
