Margaret ( Peggy) Hummel has 30+ years in nursing providing the highest level of care for women of all ages as an RN and as a Women's
Health Nurse Practitioner. She is a graduate of the Geisinger Medical Center School of Nursing and the Planned Parenthood Federation/ University of Penna. Nurse Practitioner Program
"Some say their decision to become a nurse happened after a life changing event, but for me it was always something I wanted to do. My father, who was a teacher, told me I was the only second-grader he knew that said she wanted to be a nurse and went on to become a nurse. In nursing school I knew that Women's Health would be my niche as I constantly found ways to be on the Maternity floor. My career has constantly evolved around Women's Health as I now find myself at the Breast Care Center. My favorite thought is one by Albert Schweitzer ' Life becomes harder for us when we live for others, but it also becomes richer and happier.'" Read Peggy's Blog for the Breast Care Center
